Concert Notes:

Milton Spring Concert, March 28, 3:00 pm

Milton's FAME and MRE present The Parkway Concert Orchestra in a concert Sunday, March 28th at 3 p.m. at Fontbonne Academy, 930 Brook Road, Milton.

Music Director and Conductor Lawrence Isaacson has chosen a program including Dvorak's Slavonic Dance No. 8, the first movement of Schubert's "Unfinished Symphony" as well as popular favorites such as "West Side Story" and the Symphonic Suite from the movie "Lord of the Rings". In keeping with the orchestra's policy to encourage young musicians, the Milton High School String Ensemble, directed by Patricia Ostrem, will join the Parkway Concert Orchestra for "Finlandia" by Sibelius. Milton High School cellist Jenny Nelson will also perform Saint-Saens' Allegro Appassionato for cello and orchestra.

Donation is $8.00 adults, $5.00 seniors and students. Includes light refreshments following the concert. For further information please call 617-696-3687.
