Parkway Concert Orchestra - Open Rehearsals

Experienced volunteer orchestral musicians are sought for Parkway Concert Orchestra's spring season. There are current openings in the orchestra for horn and all strings (especially viola, cello and string bass).

Music Director Matthew Fritz will conduct the 50 piece orchestra in classical and pops selections in weekly Monday night rehearsals beginning January 9, preparing for concerts on March 4, May 6 and 20. Open rehearsals will be held on January 9 and 16, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 100 Winter Street, Norwood. Please let us know you're planning to attend and see if the orchestra is a good fit with you. Other instrumentalists are also encouraged to respond to have their names included in a list of possible substitutes as needed. For more information about the orchestra, please call 781-444-5041.
