Holiday Pops Concert in East Walpole on December 5

St. Mary's Parish will present The Parkway Concert Orchestra in 'Home for the Holidays' on Sunday December 5, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Parish Center, 205 Washington Street, East Walpole. Matthew Fritz conducts the 50 piece non-profit orchestra in classical and pops holiday favorites for the entire family, including 'Twas the Night Before Christmas,' narrated by Brian Bell; 'A Festival of Burt Carols;' 'Selections from Hansel and Gretel' and Anderson's 'Christmas Festival.' Vocalist Jodi Mulcahy will be featured in 'White Christmas,' 'I’ll be Home for Christmas' and 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.' The proceeds of this concert will benefit the Pastor's Scholarship Fund.

Jodi Mulcahy

Jody Mulcahy portraitJodi Mulcahy has a Bachelor's Degree in vocal performance from Gordon College and a Master's Degree in Music Education from Boston University. She currently teaches music, grades K-5, in Hanson at the Indian Head and Maquan schools. Jodi is also the vocal director and conductor of musicals at the Whitman-Hanson Regional High School. She performs locally with theater companies in South Eastern Massachusetts. Her roles have included Julie in Some Enchanted Evening, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, Martha Jefferson in 1776, and most recently several characters in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. Jodi also performs as a vocalist with guitarist Richard Mulcahy and cellist Paul Sullivan. She is excited to be working with the Parkway Concert Orchestra.
