The Parkway Concert Orchestra's 2010-2011 Season opened with a warm concert on a chilly day at Holy Name Church in West Roxbury. The concert, entitled "That's All Folks!", featured Krista Rivers, Mezzo-Soprano, as guest artist.

The weather outside was frightful, but the Orchestra created a warm and festive space inside the First Congregational Church of Norwood.

"This Great Land" was the concert's title, and it was well named. "A Patriotic Celebration" was the sub-title and again the words fit the program. it has been a dreary, cold, rainy spring but the First Congregational Church was full of the most positive energy!

A wonderful performance, featuring two superb soloists and a remarkable, historical treasure!
