The Parkway Concert Orchestra began its 80th Season with a near-capacity audience on a fine October afternoon. The program featured selections from the 40's as a nod to music composed in the era in which the Orchestra was formed. Highlights of the celebration included recognizing FIVE previous conductors in attendance, and an electrifying performance of Sarasate's "Zigeunerweisen, Opus 20" by violin soloist Sarah Rogers, who is also the Orchestra's Concertmaster. We had a heart warming reunion with the following present and former conductors: David F.
