Sarah Rogers, Concert Master

Sarah Rogers portraitSarah Rogers is a conservatory-trained violinist based in Quincy, Massachusetts. An active freelancer in the Greater Boston Area, Sarah earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the Eastman School of Music under the tutelage of Juliana Athayde and Lynn Blaskelee. A lifelong chamber musician, Sarah is an alumna of the prestigious Castleman Quartet Program.

Sarah graduated from the Fine Arts Center of Greenville, South Carolina, studying with John Ravnan and Deirdre Hutton. During her tenure there, she was a member of prize-winning chamber ensembles, premiering works by composer-in-residence Dr. Jon Jeffrey Grier.

Sarah has served as the Parkway Concert Orchestra’s concertmaster since 2018. She performs on a modern violin made by David Deroy in Vannes, France in 2008.
